We’re proud to implement the next level of rural paramedicine by equipping our fleet of more than 40 ambulances with LIFEPAK 35 devices.
This equipment is the newest generation of defibrillators made by Stryker Careers and offers enhanced diagnostic and treatment capabilities providing our paramedics with accurate readings and faster treatment.
The LIFEPAK 35 devices are particularly useful for our rural teams, where transportation times are longer and every second counts. Training for these devices is expected to begin over the coming weeks with full deployment completed by mid-year.
During this implementation, we will also introduce Stryker Lucas devices to our fleet, which assist our paramedics by administering automated chest compressions. This device allows us to provide uninterrupted compressions and frees paramedics to focus on other aspects of emergent patient care.
