our story

Associated Ambulance & Services (Whitecourt) Ltd. has been serving Albertans since 1977. The Company was incorporated on November 10, 1978 and has continued to grow over the last thirty five years. The Company was originally formed by Terry Schueler and Russell Yohemas, to this date Terry Schueler serves as the Chief Executive Officer. With great sadness, the Associated family lost our past president Russell Yohemas. He passed away February 29, 2012. He is greatly missed and we strive everyday to continue with his legacy as Associated Ambulance is truly a family business.

Associated Ambulance strongly believes that it’s many years of experience in the provision of EMS services in Alberta, strong leadership team, and dedicated caring, compassionate team of frontline professionals positions us well to provide an exceptional level of mobile healthcare for Albertans. 

Our Offices

Our administrative offices are located in Edmonton and Acheson. The management team leading the company has many years experience either on car, in business, or both.

Associated Ambulance has many long term employees acting as supervisors, managers, or directors making the company efficient and well rounded to meet the day to day demands of providing this critical service. The company has worked with a wide variety of ambulance boards and municipalities, and Alberta Health Services over the years and through mutual respect has developed and maintained long and rewarding relationships.
