Tyler Boruck is a longstanding and valued member of the Associated Ambulance team, having dedicated over 15 years to his role as a Primary Care Paramedic (PCP). But beyond his professional commitment, Tyler’s life story is one of resilience, love, and giving back, centered around his beautiful daughter, Charlotte.
In 2017, Tyler and his wife welcomed Charlotte into their lives. Their joy was coupled with challenges as Charlotte was born prematurely. The next four months were a whirlwind of hospital visits and constant care, during which Charlotte was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. This news changed the Boruck family’s lives forever, but it also highlighted the incredible strength and compassion that Tyler embodies both at work and at home.
During this challenging period, the Associated Ambulance family rallied around Tyler. Recognizing the stress and emotional toll on the Boruck family, a caring colleague connected them with the Ronald McDonald House, a gesture that would have a profound impact. The Ronald McDonald House became a temporary home for the Borucks, providing them with comfort and support during a time of uncertainty. For three months, Tyler, his wife, and Charlotte found a sense of community and care within its walls, helping them navigate the complexities of Charlotte’s condition.
When the day finally came for Charlotte to go home, it was a moment of triumph and relief. Tyler was there to celebrate bringing his daughter home for the first time—a milestone that marked the beginning of a new chapter for their family.
The experience at the Ronald McDonald House left an indelible mark on the Boruck family. Grateful for the support they received, Tyler and his family have since become dedicated advocates for the organization. They consistently seek out ways to give back, whether through volunteering, fundraising, or spreading awareness. Their journey is a testament to the power of community, resilience, and the impact that support networks can have during life’s most challenging moments.
Tyler’s story is more than just one of personal hardship; it is a story of how the values of care, compassion, and dedication—so integral to his work at Associated Ambulance—extend into his personal life. At Associated Ambulance, Tyler is not just a dedicated professional; he is a beacon of hope and an example of how adversity can be transformed into a force for good.
Tyler continues to work with Associated Ambulance today out of Sylvan Lake. We’re very grateful to have him on our team.
